WORLD INTELLIGENCE FESTIVAL

CROWDSOURCING & DEBUTING VISIONS OF []

The World Intelligence Festival is an initiative of the World Innovation Organization (WIO) which was created to inspire, design and spread Smarter Intelligence for Smarter Business and Smarter Life. The Festival meets one of the promises of the WIO by offering a theatrical production devoted to crowdsourcing and debuting Visions of Intelligent Innovations [X].

The Festival is a transformational experience that collages and layers all forms of storytelling to influence the future of business in the age of intelligence. A stage to discover or be the world’s next great intelligent innovation venture.

What is [X] in Human x Machine? X is an intelligent innovation that possesses smarter intelligence capabilities to advance people, products, places and prosperity without subjugating humanity.

  • X integrates core ethical conditions, experiential sensations, exponential technology catalysts and explainable artificial intelligence features. These X qualities are manifested in smarter interfacing, sensing, understanding, thinking, decisioning, actioning, explanation, teaming and trusting capabilities.
  • X illustrates better mediation, partnerships and explainability between humans and machines. X implies smarter hybridity, multiplicity and combinations

Examples of [X]. A conversational gadget that thinks and decides; an inclusive place that can sense our mood and respond to it; a material that remembers us to shape our behavior; an ethical robot that can act and explain its ways; or a virtual assistant we can learn from, team with and trust to solve problems.

2018 FESTIVAL THEME: HUMANMACHINE TEAMING

WORK IN THE AGE OF INTELLIGENCE

“Human x Machine Teaming: Work in the Age of Intelligence” is the theme of the 2018 World Intelligence Festival.

In this context, the World Summit invites designers, technologists, storytellers, engineers and makers to share Visions of Intelligent Innovations [X] that illustrate how humans can team up with and trust machines to solve important problems and enrich people’s lives.

We are seeking practical use cases that debut smarter human x machine teaming innovations that will transform work without subjugating people. Human-centered stories that fuse advances in Internet of Things, Experience Engineering, Artificial intelligence and Digital Commerce to answer a central question: How will a positive relationship between humans and machines shape the future of work?

  • Solve A Specific Problem. Submissions must illustrate original and novel narratives that solve a specific problem focusing only on one work-related area from across the themes of the Summit — designs, lifestyles, services, health, industrials, infrastructure and cities.
  • Examples of Opportunity Areas. Health (collaborative diagnosis of diseases); lifestyle (human expert/virtual assistant custom-made beauty products); services (faster monitoring and creation of ethical Ads); and infrastructure (predictable two-way communication systems between driverless vehicles and their creators used to optimize and correct).
  • Submission Formats. Narratives can be: (a) actual digital and visual prototypes, 3D renders or solutions, and/or (b) Animated films with great script, human/machine characters, proper timing, sound and visuals.
